Terms of Service

Welcome to Parking Daddy. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Parking Daddy website, mobile interface, and vehicle relocation services (collectively, the "Service") provided by Parking Daddy ("we," "us," or "our"). By booking a move or using our Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Parking Daddy is a vehicle relocation service operating in San Francisco. We move your parked vehicle before scheduled street cleaning begins and relocate it to a legal parking spot in the area. You ("Customer") authorize us to take temporary possession of your vehicle for this purpose.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, the registered owner of the vehicle (or have express permission from the owner), and provide a valid driver's license number on request to use the Service. You represent that your vehicle is legally registered, insured, and in operable condition.
3. Booking & Payment
Pricing
- Standard rate: $28 per move when booked 2 or more hours before the scheduled cleaning start time.
- Last-Minute rate: $38 per move when booked less than 2 hours before the scheduled cleaning start time.
Payment is collected at the time of booking via Stripe. All sales are final except as set forth in Section 4 (Cancellations).
Booking accuracy
You are responsible for providing accurate vehicle details, current location, cleaning time, and key handoff instructions. We are not liable for service failures resulting from incorrect or incomplete information you provide.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
- 2+ hours before scheduled move: Full refund, no questions asked.
- Less than 2 hours before: $20 dispatch fee retained; remainder refunded.
- After we have collected your keys: No refund.

5. Service Area
The Service currently operates only in ZIP code 94123 (Marina District and adjacent portions of Cow Hollow and Pacific Heights, San Francisco). We may expand or modify our service area at any time without notice.
6. Key Handoff
You choose how to deliver your keys to us: lockbox, in-person handoff, building lobby/doorman, hidden in or on the vehicle, or via remote unlock (Tesla and similar). You agree that any handoff method you specify constitutes your express authorization for us to access and operate your vehicle. Parking Daddy is not responsible for keys lost or compromised due to handoff methods you select (for example, an unsecured hide-a-key location).
7. Our Responsibilities
We agree to:
- Move your vehicle to a legal parking spot before the posted cleaning start time.
- Relocate your vehicle to a legal parking spot in the surrounding area after the move.
- Operate your vehicle only as necessary to perform the Service.
- Notify you by text or in-app message of the relocation spot and any issues.
8. Limitations & Liability
Our service is a best-effort relocation, not a guarantee against tickets
We use reasonable efforts to move your vehicle before the cleaning truck arrives. However, we cannot guarantee that you will not receive a parking citation in any individual instance. Citations can result from inaccurate user-provided cleaning times, off-schedule city enforcement, limited legal parking availability, or other factors outside our control.
Reimbursement policy
If you receive a street cleaning ticket on a date and location we serviced for you, and the ticket was issued during a window in which we had possession of your vehicle, we will reimburse the ticket amount upon submission of a copy. This reimbursement is our sole and exclusive remedy for such tickets.
Damage & loss
Parking Daddy carries insurance covering vehicles while in our possession, and our drivers are licensed and background-checked. We exercise reasonable care while your vehicle is in our care. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including lost wages, alternative transportation costs, or emotional distress.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always available.
10. User Conduct
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including transporting illegal items, evading law enforcement, or facilitating insurance fraud. We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel bookings, or terminate your account for any reason, including suspected violation of these Terms.
11. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or via a notice on our website. Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.
