Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 27, 2026

Parking Daddy ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly

  • Booking information: car make, model, color, license plate, parking location, requested cleaning time, and key handoff instructions.
  • Contact information: name and email or phone number you provide via the Contact form or during booking.
  • Payment information: processed by Stripe, our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers on our servers. We receive only the last four digits and a token used to charge future bookings (if you opt in).

Information collected automatically

  • Basic device and browser information (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) via standard server logs.
  • We currently do not use third-party analytics, advertising trackers, or social media pixels on our website. If we add these in the future, we will update this Policy.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide the Service — locate, move, and relocate your vehicle.
  • Contact you with booking confirmations, dispatch updates, and customer support.
  • Process payments via Stripe.
  • Improve the Service, including debugging issues and analyzing service-area demand.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

  • Service providers who help us operate the Service — currently: Supabase (database hosting), Stripe (payments), SendGrid (email notifications), Twilio (SMS notifications), and Vercel (website hosting). Each is bound by their own privacy and security practices.
  • Our drivers — only the information needed to perform your move (vehicle details, location, key instructions).
  • Law enforcement or regulators if legally required (court order, subpoena, or similar).

4. Data Retention

We retain booking and contact records for as long as necessary to provide the Service and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time via the Contact page, subject to legal retention obligations.

5. Your Rights (California Residents)

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect about them and how we use it.
  • Access a copy of the personal information we hold.
  • Delete personal information we have collected, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information — though, as stated above, we do not sell or share your information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • Non-discrimination — we will not deny you service for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise these rights, contact us via the Contact page. We will respond within 45 days as required by law.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical safeguards to protect your information, including TLS encryption for data in transit and limited access controls for staff. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a minor, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Cookies

We use only essential cookies necessary for the website to function (for example, to remember an in-progress booking). We do not currently use marketing or analytics cookies. If we add them in the future, we will update this Policy and provide a cookie consent banner where legally required.

9. International Users

The Service is operated in the United States and intended for users located in San Francisco, California. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or via a notice on our website. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the most recent changes were made.
